OfficeServ Best Buy (What to Buy for Business
Magazine UK, Feb 05)

Samsung Communications is delighted to announce that its successful OfficeServ
platform has won prestigious accolades from an independent international business
publication.
In their February issue, the UK published 'What to Buy for Business' magazine
has released their 2005 report for business telephone equipment. And the results
for Samsung just couldn't be better.
The Samsung OfficeServ 100 won the Best Buy category for low to mid range business
telephone systems, and both the OfficeServ 100 and the Samsung OfficeServ 500
won the Good Value category for LAN telephony.
"The magazine 'What to Buy for Business' is well respected for the integrity
of their review process. The awards are made only after a thorough review and
analysis is conducted of all products submitted," explains Samsung Communications
Managing Director, Chris Lynch. "We're delighted to have won this recognition
as it is based on determination of performance, price and overall value for
money. These characteristics are precisely what the Samsung OfficeServ range
is all about."
The Samsung OfficeServ systems have developed a reputation with Australian
customers as powerful, fully featured voice applications with comprehensive
IP (Internet Protocol) capability. A truly convergent system, it allows users
to streamline voice, data, fax and video, while seamlessly integrating with
an existing computer system.
The 'What to Buy for Business' reviewer commenting on the feature set of the
OfficeServ 100 enthused that 'having seen this in action, it is well worth considering'.
The review continued 'Samsung's new VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology
brings significant benefits to small companies. It sets you up for home or remote
working. The latest technology can address management concerns over the performance
of home working staff, as it allows you to monitor their performance by producing
phone statistics.'
"The 'What to Buy for Business' awards validated what
our customers have known all along," says Chris Lynch.
'The Samsung range of OfficeServ business telephones really
are winners!

OfficeServ 7200 Product of the Month
(What to Buy for Business Magazine UK, Oct 05)
OfficeServ 7200 is Samsung Business Communications newly released IP communications
system targeted at businesses with 20 to 150 staff.
The OfficServ 7200 all-in-one communications server has a suite of data and
voice capabilities. It is preconfigured for converged data communications and
includes a fully featured security firewall, intrusion detection / prevention
(IDS), policy manager and packet shaper. The IDS monitors network traffic and
reports attempted security breaches to the network manager. Voice is always
prioitised over data connections.
The power of IP is its location independence. It is the prerequisite of having
a virtual enterprise. OfficeServ is a server based system, it can mix TDM with
IP depending on business needs. The system can also prioritise task so that
voice comes first, internet traffic last. It dynamically manages the bandwidth
by packet shaping. This is part of the package and not an additional extra which
is exceptional at this price point."
All current handsets and applications software are supported and there is the
option to use SIP, H.323, Spnet and signalling. The system
is rack mountable and all interfaces are RJ45. The SVMi 20Emodule
offers voicemail and auto attendant functionality, while a
new 16 - port combination module provides interfaces for a
mix of digital and analogue extensions.
